| Subject: BRAGGIN Date: Mon, 16 Oct 2006 Mike, Todd (and your gang)... I should have written this a couple of months ago after pickup the first Hyosung in Houston area and the first service done. After the 6k miles check up, I just have to brag about you guys directly instead of http://www.alternativecruisers.com , and http://s11.invisionfree.com/HyosungCruisersOz sites. Many thanks for making this dealer experience so pleasurable although I asked too many question, LOL. The bike runs better and smoother than it EVER has, it's a completely different (and now enjoyable) bike to ride thanks to your work! Mike Bui Katy, TX Hyosung GV650 Cruiser |

| Date - 31 December 2006 From Richard Thibedeau Aloha, Mike. This is long overdue, but I feel the need to do some "BRAGGIN". Lets start with the visits to your place of business while on trips to Texas to visit my wife's family. You and your staff was always courteous and helpful with whatever my needs were whether it be a simple question or product needs. My first bike purchase was a 2004 Breva 750 for my wife. This was done long distance, sight unseen and the bike was as advertised. Remarkable job crating and getting the bike to us in Hawaii. When a issue with the rear differential came up and the warrantee was technically expired even though the issue developed before the warrantee expired. ( I neglected to report the issue because I thought I was out of luck because I was in Hawaii with no dealer support here locally). MPH and staff saved the day and got the needed part to us under warrantee and I was able to get it installed by a local motorcycle shop that by chance had a mechanic on staff that was familiar with Moto Guzzi. You even supplied the service manuals to help with info needed for repair. Words cannot express our gratitude with this matter. My second bike purchase was a like new Rosso Mondello V11 Sport, again sight unseen and crated and delivered to me in Hawaii as advertised. After a minor mishap this past year, Todd and crew responded diligently to help me get OEM replacement parts for this Rare limited edition model. Much Mahalo. While on a trip to Texas I was hoping to take a ride on the Rosso before it was shipped, but but you folks was so efficient it was already shipped. Mike was gracious enough to let me use a new Stone demo for a couple days so I could get some great Texas riding in. My wife and I are planning a 2 month tour on our Moto Guzzis this summer, and one of our priorities will be to bring our bikes by the shop to have the MPH crew go over everything and I can rest assured that everything humanly possible will be taken care of so we can enjoy our summer tour. I am a Lifetime MGNOC member # 5 and my wife is Lifetime # 228. We have owned 10 Moto Guzzis since 1974 and over all I've had good expierences with most Moto Guzzi dealers, but MPH has always gone the extra mile, and rest assured, I'll be back to do business with MPH. Mahalo, and Aloha, Richard Thibedeau |

| On the 9th of May I loaded my 03 Touring
on to a borrowed trailer and headed
south.
It was time to get the valve recall
done.
I delivered the bike to Todd and Mike on the 10th. I asked them to do a somewhat late 12K mile service along with the recall and to just check the bike over to see that it had been set-up right. I picked the bike up a week later in a rain storm. Mike told me he would prefer I take it for a test ride, but in that I could possibly drown doing so he'd let me go without that important step. We did start the engine. We got a quick start with what sounded like less than a complete turn of the engine. We also had absolutely no valve train noise. I didn't take the bike off the trailer until arriving back home on Monday. I didn't ride it other than to pull it into the garage until yesterday. Yesterday I rode to work and back. That's an enjoyable 53 mile commute. I was amazed. The bike is smoother and stronger now than it's been. Ever. Remember the thread on the cracked steering heads? I was convinced mine was okay. It wasn't. I didn't have the big, wide-open cracks that others have posted pictures of, but there were cracks. I hadn't found them with a visual inspection, but the MPH crew, knowing what to look for found them. There were 3 small cracks radiating out from the center. I'd highly recommend that anyone else who has an 03 very carefully inspect that lower steering head. In addition to the work I was charged for I found that an irritating rattle/buzz that I was getting is now gone. My turn signal indicator light had been so dim that it could only be seen at night is now nice and bright. My shift linkage is tighter that ever before and the change to the outer linkage hole had been done. I'll probably find other items they took care of, but those are obvious and appreciated ones. Other notes on the trip, It does rain in Houston. The morning we left there had been people stranded on the highway system in south Houston for hours waiting for the rains to stop and localized flooding to abate. Pulling a trailer through Dallas isn't fun. On at least one instance, my guzzi was faster through the curves on a trailer than a harley rider I had to follow. Goode Company barbecue in Houston is as advertised. My bill from MPH was a fair price. My bike was certainly improved by visiting their shop. I guess it doesn't get much better than that. Thanks MPH. |

| Subject: Good Riding Date: Fri, 07 Oct 2005 From: Jim Rich I rode the LeMans to work yesterday. Going home I took it out highway 90 past Crosby where there is light traffic and the road is in good shape. I was cruising at 80 and passing at 90, downshifted to get off and came to a stop and was enjoying the thing so much I was laughing at the stop sign. I would call that pretty high praise for a bike; you were grinning the first time you test drove it and are still grinning almost 3 years later. Never had a bike that I enjoyed so much. |

You worked w/ me like no other service center or dealer EVER HAS ! Hauling my Moto Guzzi V11 Sport from Virginia to Houston is WELL WORTH MY TIME, EFFORT & MONEY. No doubt I'll be bringing my BMW down when it needs service ! | Subject: Frank's Braggin-- use as desired-with
his permission Date: Wed, 13 July 2005 I've wanted an EV Touring ever since the EV80 came out in '02. The red leather bags were a bit of a turn off and I cooled it until the Blue/Chrome EVT's came out in '03. Ouch. That one came close to getting me. Several months ago I saw the light silver and gray EVT listed on Cycle Trader in "X" I let it simmer for a while and then asked Mike and Todd Haven if they could pull one out of Atlanta or another dealer. No luck. There were two blue and chromes and one black/chrome available at the time. I could find the dark gray and black EVT's as shown on Guzzi's US site, but no silver/gray. The silver color is not actually shown for EVT's in the US, but for regular EV's BTW. I finally got the bug bad enough and called "X" a couple of weeks ago to see if they actually still had the bike. Yes, I'm looking at it through my office door right now was the answer. I'd watched the pot long enough and it was ready to boil now. I inquired about the bike regarding mileage, camshaft and valvetrain replacements and found the dealer had no clue regarding repairing hydraulic bikes (or others for that matter). I became concerned and began swapping information with Todd. He filled me in that the "zero mile campaign" was only done on bikes with less than 25 miles and had to be performed by the selling dealer. This bike had 2.9 miles and a clueless dealer in possession. I began considering buying the bike as-is and getting the used bike repair once MG rolls it out whenever that happens. Todd cautioned me to have MGNA agree to that in writing because once the new bike kit came out dealers were instructed to install them prior to sale with no excuses. I like that phrase by the way. Phone calls to Michelle at MGNA started clearing up my smokey crystal ball. She told me the dealer could sell the bike "as is" and refuse to do the repair even though he was supposed to be obligated to carry out the upgrade. The bike would fall into the used campaign at that point and be eligible for upgrades at any dealer. It made sense that the zero mile deal was the safest way to proceed on this bike. Michelle addressed my concerns regarding the capability of the dealer in "X" to carry out the cam campaign. She discussed my sale with the owner, store manager, and service manager. She called me back to say she was in agreement regarding the risk of them tearing into that engine. MGNA would pay MPH to do the repair if I would transport the bike from point A to point B. Mike and Todd agreed to help me even though this bike didn't sell at their shop. (Sound familiar?) These guys absolutely care about the customer more more than anything in their business lives except making the green stuff. Of course they couldn't be in business without that! Laughing Now we're off to the races. Jeanne had the Six Flags thing planned for months. We were to return home on Thursday and I knew to make the big loop that I would have to hoof it to "X", Houston, and back home. Joey and I pulled out of Mansfield at 4:30 PM with trailer in tow after coming in from Dallas that day. We bunked down in Meridian, MS that night and were back on the road after 6:30 AM Friday. We pulled into the "X" dealership at 10:30 (central time). I checked the bike out and had to have it. I fired her up and she settled into a rough 500 to 600 RPM idle. Yuck. These people hadn't touched anything except the crate and filling the battery. The tires were even low on air although not flat. Payment, paperwork, and loading the trailer followed. We pulled out of there to my amazement at how many people were traveling on $2.15 to $2.18 gasoline on this holiday weekend. The interstates from Montgomery to Mobile, Baton Rouge, Houston, and up US 59 toward home were packed with travelers and police. I think the cops were on a maximum of 10 mile centers yesterday and today. I saw about eight of Alabama's State Police in an assembly line speed trap north of Montgomery with a number of cars nose to tale on top of an on ramp and a radar shooter positioned behind the overpass column. They were doing a brisk business. Well it's 1570 miles and 23:33 hours of moving time later according to Garmin. Joey and I are home safe and sound and the new bike is locked away in Houston at MPH. I gave Todd my shopping list of accessories to get and told them I was in no hurry since I had Pearl to ride. Mike asked me if the middle of next week would be soon enough. I told him again there was no hurry, and he said there is no reason not to go ahead and get it done. I think it is remarkable how these folks take care of business. MPH had no obligation to do work that another dealer was not capable of completing. I told them I would have happily paid more if this particular bike could be obtained by them. I have had such good service that I get all my goodies there unless they do not carry it. Mike, I promise I'll deal with you once I can't stand the lack of a B-1100 at my house. People I know well enough to discuss the procurement can not believe the effort I've gone through to get another motorcycle when they sell them just down the street. These people just don't understand. Frank Smith |

| Wednesday, November 10, 2004 Subject: Unsolicited Write-Up I moved to Texas in April and through the WildGuzzi and V11 boards had always heard that MPH went the extra mile to do things right. I've had service at their location twice now and all I can say is that everything I heard is most definitely true. Unlike many so-called Guzzi dealers today, they showcase their product and provide quality service at very reasonable prices. Although riding for 275 mi through two metroplexes (Dallas & Houston) is not my idea of fun, the trip is certainly worth it. Hats off to the fine crew at MPH for jobs well done!....... I would ride that bike all day before, but now were talkin ALL day in complete comfort. For me, it even improves handling cuz Ive spent all my 25 years riding in a more upright position. This new position is just far forward enough to make it sporty, yet not standing on yer head . Expensive, but worth every penny. I'll bet Moto Guzzi would sell a lot more LeManseses (ha) if they came like this. Thanks again, Dave |

| Tuesday, August 10, 2004 Subject: Great work! Dear Mike & Co.: I've been meaning to write for a while, since the first time I broughtmy R90S in back in January, but one thing or another has always gotten in the way. It's been eight months now, and I've never failed to be impressed with the quality of work you guys do. I, for one, would probably never have noticed the minor frame damage. Every time I'vegotten the bike back after my (hopefully unusual) string of adventures, it's felt like a new bike, and every time we've ever given you a deadline, you guys have met it on the nose. Even more important to me, there've been several times I've called with questions and every time someone there has had a useful answer without me driving across town and bringing it in to the shop. You guys really know your stuff, and I'm glad I got referred to you. Thanks again, Colin Darby |

| Tuesday, May 11, 2004 6:29 PM Subject: BRAGGIN I should have written this a couple of bikes ago! Riding Guzzis only since ’96. Local Baton Rouge dealer dropped Guzzi in 2000. Nearest dealer, MPH, now 300 miles away. Worse still, West Houston. Ride over there, meet everybody and get a service. Excellent! Ride their V11S demo later at the (former) Louisiana Rally and get one from Mike a couple months later. Ahead a couple of years and I’m getting about 10k Guzzi miles per year and now have an ’03 Stone Metal Black and an ’04 Café Sport. I’m glad they are only 300 miles away. Davy, Todd, Deanna and Mike are fun to be around and run a great shop!. Like the time Mike machined some heavy Pro-Italia bar ends to accept my CRG mirrors, or the time Todd gave me the passenger pegs off his EV for the Stone, ‘cause mine had been back ordered a while, or knowing a former motorcycle racer and super experienced mechanic like Davy is prepping your bike, or see Mike, Todd and Davy working hard to mount tubeless rims on the Stone; and when Mike got fed up with waiting for a brake bracket, had one machined from billet, or Deanna getting her Notary, so out of state buyers have it easy. But, mostly it’s the enthusiasm. They’ve got it in buckets. MPH. Tony Ryals, MD Baton Rouge - LA |

| Subject: (MGCL) What saves Moto Guzzi Date: Sat, 20 Dec 2003 17:05:28 -0600 From: Ron Kaye To: MGCL <MGCL@topica.com> CC: MGNA <customerrelations@motoguzzi-us.com>, MGNOC-SC@topica.com A lot has been written on these discussion lists about what works and what doesn't for Moto Guzzi. There has been extensive talk about how Guzzi has all too often shot itself in the foot by neglecting simple quality problems and rehashing old technology, and a lot of hopeful talk about how Aprilia's involvement has improved matters (or will in the future). As one who started riding Guzzis 20 years ago, after riding a progression of Jap, British, and German bikes for 20 years more, I feel at least somewhat qualified to comment, but usually reserve comments for weekly get-togethers and Saturday BS sessions. Something happened today that fired me up, however, and I wanted to share it with you all. On my typical Saturday morning ride, I stopped by the shop (MPH Cycles) to ask Mike Haven what he thought about my bike's tendency to idle at 1750~2000rpm. I had already eliminated sticking throttle bodies as the culprit, and hoped he had some ideas. Since I wasn't going for service, I didn't even have my checkbook with me, and the credit cards had all been pretty well Santa Claused out... I was just going to ask for advice, so I didn't worry about it. Well, Mike pulled my Jackal into the shop & hooked it up to the computer, and determined that it was running rich due to the fact that, in the cooler temps, it never actually got up to normal operating temp. He made a couple of adjustments, and the idle settled in just fine. I would have been more than satisfied with his efforts at that point, as he went the extra mile for me, without even thinking about charging me. While putting the side cover back on, however, he noticed some unusual wear on my rear brake disk, and informed me that my pads were shot. I had noticed that my rear brake had locked up a couple of times this past week, but wrote that off as poor traction on Houston's typically well-lubricated surface streets. I decided that the only prudent thing to do at that point was to ride straight to the house, and leave the bike until I could bring it in for its regular service - and a new set of pads - in the next week or so. But Haven wouldn't let it go at that. He brought out the pads and installed them on the spot, saying he refused to let me ride out with faulty brakes. He told me not to worry about it... that I could settle up later. And it's not the first time I've been the recipient of this kind of benevolent treatment from him & Todd. That's when it was really driven home. Guzzi survives, not only due to the virtues of the motorcycles - though those virtues are very apparent to anyone who rides one for any length of time - but due in great part to the attitude of dealers like Haven (and I sincerely hope there are more like him in other locations). When I go into any other motorcycle shop, I am greeted by people who are there to sell bikes. Nice folks, as a rule, but salespeople, nonetheless. But when I go into MPH, I encounter people who are passionate about motorcycles and the riding experience, and who honestly care about their fellow riders. I have never felt like a customer when I went in, but rather like a fellow rider. And that point was really driven home today. If I'd had a bit more sense, I would have noticed the change in braking behavior days ago. But I didn't. And I feel damn lucky to have a dealer who is, beyond being a learned supplier of goods and services, a good friend. In my 40 years of riding, that certainly hasn't always been the case - even with Guzzi dealers. Call this note sucking up if you like. I guess it is. But it's rare to be treated so well by a business concern, and I felt like Mike & Todd Haven deserved a public pat on the back for being not only very competent at keeping the bikes operating right, but for being good guys as well, who routinely go out of their way to make sure their customers are happy and safe, and leave the shop feeling like more than just customers. If MGNA could somehow instill the Havens' level of expertise and concern for fellow riders in all their dealers, all the talk about the marquee's troubles would simply die, even if they never came out with anything resembling a breakthrough machine. For my own part, I just wanted to say Thanks. Ron Kaye http://tinyurl.com/b7jr Y2K Jackal MGNOC #18842 |

Hi Todd Just wanted to let you folks know what a
great job you did on my 03 Stone touring
. Its like a different bike . It idles when
its cold now w/o any extra throttle
help
, no longer " hunts / percolates "
at lower speeds in higher gears , accelerates
better and a bonus , I can even see
out the
mirrors better without as much "buzz
". I appreciate your experience
and
pride you guys take in your work .
Since this is my first " Guzzi "
, I put up w/ this for 4,000 miles
not knowing
any better . It appears to me
that the factory doesn't spend much time tuning
them . This should be a dealer pre-delivery
responsibility . Wish mine had . The Wildguzzi . com folks are right , You

I just wanted to stick my 2 cents in. My experience may not inspire nor interest anyone but I hope will attract more customers MPH’s way. 1st let me say that I am a Harley owner. I have been for 30 years. My current is a 75 Super Glide that has been mine since 1980. Lately the countless lemmings that have been buying Harleys, then suddenly becoming experts in motorcycles and motorcycling, have discouraged me to a point where I don't want to be associated with them anymore. I bought my 1st Harley because they were uncommon and I wanted something different. Because of that, I was in the market for something different. I happened to be riding past MPH one day, while working, and noticed a South Carolina Police bike parked out front. I stopped to look. At the same time Todd was walking out to a car. He asked me if I was in the market for a Moto Guzzi. I said I knew a guy that had one in the early 70’s but hadn't thought nor heard much about them since. He spent the next ½ hour showing the Moto Guzzi Stone and all of its innovations and mechanics. I left with a positive opinion about them and told Todd that when I was ready to buy I would consider one. I happened to be near there the next weekend with my wife and asked her if she wanted to see the motorcycle I was looking at. She wanted to so we stopped. This time I talked to Mike and when he asked if I was interested I said I was looking for more of a cruiser. He took me inside and showed the 2002 white EV. I was really impressed. He asked if I wanted to ride it. I did and when I came back from the 12-mile test ride I was totally sold. We negotiated a deal which included side bags and a top box. I picked the bike up on Jan 31st. Not once during the entire time did I feel like I was being sold anything. They showed me what they had to offer and the bike sold itself. When I went in for knee surgery, 5/8/03 I had 8935 miles on it. All I wanted to do was get better so I can ride again. I can’t say enough about the Guzzi, I tell everyone about it. All of my Harley buddies have disowned me but when they ask why I left the fold I tell them to ride a Guzzi and they will know. I ride in all weather and feel confident and safe regardless of the conditions. As for MPH, I can’t say enough good things about them. I have had the one or two minor problems fixed as soon as I have asked about them. Not only are Mike and the crew at MPH my only motorcycle shop they are now the only ones touching my wife’s car as well. The shop is clean and well organized. Anytime you spend watching the activity in there you can’t help but be impressed. I encourage anyone that is in the market for a new motorcycle to stop and see MPH and if you need service on your car stop and ask Mike if he can fix it. He is thorough, confident, and competent I have the impression that if you want to work for MPH you need to an expert in your field. Just a side note if you do make the intelligent decision and buy one of these Italian machines you not only get a great motorcycle but you have to opportunity to meet and hang out with a great bunch of people, look into the TGGR events. Oh and Mike likes you to call him Bro. |

| Subject: unsolicited referral Date: Tue, 17 Dec 2002 Mike and the Team at MPH have hit the mark here in Texas. I have owned several Guzzis and currently own three (all were bought elsewhere before MPH became an official dealer). I used to perform all of the servicing on these bikes myself, as no dealer in the area was passionate enough to instill my confidence. Needless to say, MPH now does ALL of my servicing, from repairs to simple maintenence. They even straightened out the things I screwed up (ha ha). These guys are thorough and leave nothing to chance, Mike and his Team see to every detail until it is right. When the time comes to buy another Guzzi, MPH will get the call. | unsolicited testimonial Date: Tue, 12 Nov
2002 Mike, I'm sending this testimonial to your mechanical ability for you to use as you see fit. While we were on a group desert ride in the Big Bend area a motorcycle in our group began running very poorly. The rider assumed he would sit out the rest of the ride. When Mike Haven (who was riding in our group) heard the bike it took him about a second to diagnose the problem. After ruling out other possible easier/ cheaper problems it was determined as Haven had initially thought that the valve seats were pulling into the heads so the valves could not seat and therefore not cool themselves which would lead to a very expensive repair if ridden in that condition. Diagnosing the problem is one thing but fixing it is quite another thing when you consider the nearest parts are 100 plus miles away. Haven said he could get it running for the next day.He took the cams off and filed the shims down to allow for the distance the valves had pulled into the head. This was all done with a tool kit that was at best a travel kit, on a motorcycle that he doesn't normally service. The repair required permatex sealer, a flat file, fine sandpaper and a deep understanding of mechanics. The bike did the ride the next day and then was fully repaired back in Houston. All in attendance were sufficiently amazed and I think Haven wondered why. Thanks for the help. Buy a bike or have yours serviced at MPH Cycles. Art Barkis Austin, Texas |

| PeggyTillery/KenHand wrote: For 49K the EV never ran right everyday. If it didn't stall at idle it would backfire, start hard, surge and the gas mileage in cold weather was terrible. At times 27 mpg running solo and no wind. Suggestions were to put in new coils, new tps, special computer chip, on and on. There are lots of good Guzzi mechanics out there, but not all are keen on fuel injection. One that is sharp is Mike Haven, owner MPH Cycles Houston. I rode the 240 miles to Houston and Mike put the exhaust analyzer in the muffler and hooked up the computer. Watching him work is like watching Jerry Lee Lewis play the piano...they both make it look so easy. Mike didn't sell me one single thing. He just made the EV run right: no spitting, popping, surging and for the first time ever gas mileage of 53 mpg and 45mpg on a tank with 30mph sidewind. Temp in the morning is going to be around 30. I'll be out on the road testing the EV for cold weather performance. Ken Hand (Tx Rep - MGNOC) Will give you the results from cold weather testing Monday. Ken |

I'm sitting on the Goose now, in the garage making twin sounds, planning my next trip to mexico, or Four Corners, or Alaska, or... Great bike, great tuner, great service. Truly a scooter for all occasions, my naked Jackel burdened with side bags, trunk and tank bag has covered the miles with zero down time and keeps a smile on my face as most others are but a gentle vibration in my mirrors. | March 2002 - I was informed by a friend who told me about a demo ride at MPH. The demo ride was well organized and pleasant. I enjoyed the experience with Mike and Todd: they show that they understand motorcycles very well. The buying experience is pleasant and uncomplicated: either you buy a bike or you don't, no problem. Not all different bikes are in stock, but they'll order what you want, and it arrived in a short amount of time. Your dealership emphasize that they really care about maintenance: the workshop is large, clean, well equipped and organized, and you don't mind when people take a peak at the mechanic's work, which looked excellent to me. The coffee is hot. Good experience... My experience with the Guzzi California EV is great. Has good torque and power. The brakes are excellent. The looks are cruiser, but the comfort and quality of handling suggest touring to me. You sit down on it and it feels right from the start. The looks and sound of the transverse, air-cooled V-twin is simply unique and this bike will look good twenty years from now. I am looking forward to many more miles. Mark S, Houston |

| Feb 2002 - I bought the Skorpion Tour, mainly because I determined it to be the best value of all the bikes in its class that I was considering. Mike and all you folks treated me just fine before and after the sale. I have only put on a little over 1000 miles, but I have found the seat to be comfy enough to make a 300 mile day, and the 4.5 gallon tank will take you farther than you will want to go without stopping. I have been getting between 48 and 58 mpg running the speed limits. I am enjoying the bike more as time goes by. Feel free to use me as a reference. About the only thing you could do to make me happier is to open a branch of MPH here in Texas City, Les |

brannenj@timken.com writes: How many people out there actually have a bike running with no problems that are never heard from? I know mine runs flawlessly..... I'm one of what I agree must be a silent majority. Never a lick of trouble out of my Jackal. Of course, my perspective may be skewed by the fact that I bought it from - and have it serviced by - Mike at MPH. From what I've seen & heard, proper setup by the dealer goes a looong way toward making for a happy customer. Especially on those "little details" that they overlook at Mandello. | From: Chris Roberts - Jan 2001 To: customerrelations@motoguzzi-us.com Guzzi, I would first say that I have been very disappointed by my local Guzzi Dealer servicing in Houston Texas from the dealer I purchased my bike (????) but they were the only ones in town when I purchased my 2000 V11 Sport. The 600 mile service cost ~$450, and for that I received an un-tightened shaft drive drain plug which drained on my back tire in the rain on my 45 mile ride home. I had the dreaded known relay problem (dim headlight and no tach) and was informed that the relays were not covered by warranty. I mentioned that that www.mgnoc.com that everyone was getting the first 5 way relay replaced with the newer Bosch instead of the faulty Siemans. Instead the third relay was replaced (another Siemans), failed on the ride home, and I was charged for the relay. They have since called me to let me know that they will refund my money for the relay because it is covered under warranty. I went to you're site to find out where to complain and noticed the listing for MPH cycles, so I gave them a call and asked if I could bring my Guzzi by that day to change out the first relay because of the problems. David immediately knew what I was talking about and mentioned they had the third generation Bosch relays and that I could bring it buy that day!! When I arrived, I was taken care of immediately and the relay was replaced and magic everything worked! The relay was covered by my factory warranty. So then Mike (the owner) comes over and asks how it running since I put the Carbon Cans on it (bought from an Excellent Dealer in Colorado Springs that mentioned that Mike was trying to open up a dealership and to watch for him). To make a long story short, Mike drained and measured my rear shaft oil and refilled it correctly measured it and them put my V11 on his tailpipe analyzer and computer and proceeded to dial in my EFI. Mike and David spent about a hour and forty five minutes going over everything about my V11 and this was after they had closed! My V11 has never run this good now that the fuel injection was setup correctly! Mike performed all this for no charge, and I was able to go riding over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Now I have to figure out what accessories to buy from him to thank him! (Can't wait to buy the windscreen and bike stand!) How big a deal was this service to me? I road raced jap bikes for about 4-5 years and have owned numerous Honda's, Yamaha's, and Suzuki's which all performed flawlessly (reliable), but I took a chance with my heart and bought my first Brand new $12,000 motorcycle Motoguzzi V11 sport in metallic green, that I had seen previewed in 1997! After my first 600 miles and servicing I seriously questioned whether I should have purchased the Guzzi or even recommend it to my other friends who waiting to see how mine worked out before purchasing a V11. But now I can say I have the faith thanks to MPH Cycles, Motoguzzi and Mike! Please make sure MPH Cycles is recognized for their above and beyond servicing! Regards, Chris Roberts |
